We found an issue where if you extracted assets from within a shot (with the Extract Assets button in PiManager), they fail to animate if you select them from the Maya viewport. The reason is that when you click on a static asset from the Maya viewport, the Static Asset node is supposed to be selected by default. We found that this is not the case with extracted static assets. For now, to remedy, please select the Static Asset node directly from the outliner and it should animate without a problem. A solution for this will be in the next release.
